I just found out my mother's maiden name is Brant, not Brandt which we thought was German! So what nationality is Brant?

There are six books planned in the series: Waking Nightmare, Waking Evil, Waking the Dead, Deadly Intent, Deadly Dreams (out now) and Deadly Sins, to be released in August. Deadly Sins will be Adam Raiker's story.

ok well thank that makes me feel a little better.I finally got the second book this last year even though i got the other two the year before. I'm so happy to be able to read them all together now, I hadn't been able to find the second one where i lived. I really love them.
I'm writing a book myself but I still don't know how it's going to end. I just hope that when it s done someone likes it.

Waking Nightmare the Mindhunters, Chapter 19, page 296 and 297 paperback copy

Did you realize that there is a typeo about beer vs. water?
I'm rereading it again because I really enjoyed but when I came across it again and I just had to ask about it because it nagges at me a little, not that Ryne doesn't drink but that in the first paragraph, on pg.296, it says beer and then next thing you know it's water, and on the next page, a little passed halfway down, you go on to say water again confirming that it was, indeed water that he had and not beer. So I guess what I trying to ask is did you originally want to say beer because it sounded better and then changed it to water rememering that Ryne doesn't drink?

Here I have typed what I'm talking about so you could see what it is that I'm talking about.

... Apparently satisfied with the contents of both pots, he picked up his beer and turned to face her. ...

He shook his head, bringing the bottle of water to his lips. ...

I just finished "Deadly Intent." Terrific story (although I felt it didn't quite end ... know what I mean?)
The story mentions Ellie Mulder at age 7 and Adam Raiker's role in the earlier event. Was there an earlier book with Adam Raiker or is "Deadly Intent" his introduction as a character? I don't want to miss anything.

In the back of "Waking the Dead" it gives a peek into the next book "Deadly Fear". But! The next book isn't or wasn't titled "Deadly Fear".
Was the title changed or am I missing something *like a book*?

btw...LOVE THE BOOKS! Just pre-ordered "Deadly Dreams".

I've always been enthralled with the south, and with Savannah especially. I love history and the city is steeped in atmosphere! My biggest disappointment is that the setting didn't play an especially large role in Waking Nightmare. I'd like to visit the city and use its wonderful history in another book I set there.

I have just found your books and I love them! However, I am buying all of my books as ebooks for the Nook reader from Barnes and Noble. I noticed that many of your previous books are available for the Kindle from Amazon but are not available in the format required for the Nook. Is there any plans to have all of your books available as ebooks for the Nook as well?

No you haven't missed anything :) Adam is a recurring character in the books. In the second trilogy there is an overarching suspense plot that involves him and the sixth book is his story. Glad to hear you're enjoying the books!

I've just finished reading Waking Nightmare and Waking Evil they were both wonderful books, but I couldn't help feeling as though I was missing something. Was Adam Raiker a character in one of your earlier books?

I've loved every book you have written for Silhouette so when I saw the Waking Nightmare I bought it automatically. I love it, even though I haven't even finished it!!! I am trying my best not to skip to the end (bad habit of mine). Can't wait for the others. So glad they are coming every month. I also get impatient with my favorite authors because they don't write as fast as I read, go figure, but I definitely don't have the talent to write!!! Thanks again for what I am sure will be a great series.
